DIY: Flea & Tick Repellent

Flea & Tick spray:
2 oz water
5 drops lemon grass
5 drops clove
5 drops orange
Mix above in a spray bottle & apply to your dogs & yourself!

Flea & tick collar:
Soak your dog’s nylon collar in a small bowl of water with:
2 drops lavender oil
2 drops cedar wood oil
2 drops thyme oil
2 drops tea tree oil
Repeat monthly!

Yard treatments:
Make tick tubes to be placed around your home & yard:
Toilet paper roll
Lint from your dryer
Cedar wood oil

Sprinkle the cedar wood oil on the lint & allow to air dry. Place the lint inside the toilet paper rolls and distribute around your yard. Mice, rabbits & squirrels will gather the lint for their nests. Cedar wood oil is toxic to ticks!

Sprinkle FOOD GRADE diatomaceous earth around the perimeter of your yard. This non-Toxic white powder is deadly to ticks! They crawl across the powder & it sticks to their body. It will dehydrate & kill the ticks.
